All in all I think the PRS SC245 is a great guitar that is an excellent alternative to the Gibson Les Paul. The craftsmanship is excellent, the feel is there, and the tones are wonderful. For the price I payed this guitar, I cannot be more happy. I've also tried modern Gibson Guitars, but at that price for me they were impossible to buy. The PRS Singlecut quickly became, and still is to this day, my favorite guitar. It plays almost effortlessly, and never lets me down in the tone department. The base sound of the guitar is simply described as BIG. Depending on the pickups, it quickly can morph between a smooth and pleasant sounding fiddle, to a screaming axe. [read more on Audiofanzine]
